Job summary

Pathway Group is seeking a CNC Lathe Operator for 2nd shift to run Haas CNC lathes and produce precision components. The role involves loading/unloading material, monitoring cycles, and performing basic quality checks with calipers and micrometers.

The position requires 2–5 years of manufacturing experience; aerospace exposure is valued. Training on first shift will precede the regular 2nd shift schedule (Mon-Fri, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM) with potential overtime.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate Haas CNC lathe machines according to procedures and work instructions

• Verify parts meet quality and dimensional requirements
• Make basic machine adjustments as needed
• Follow production schedules, work instructions, and safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Work with aluminum and various metals
• Identify and report machine, tooling, or quality issues
• Meet established production and quality standards

CNC Lathe Operator – 2nd Shift

Pay: Starting at $28.00/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM

Overtime: Some overtime may be required

Training: Approximately 2 weeks on 1st shift, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking a CNC Lathe Operator to join our manufacturing team on 2nd shift. This position will primarily operate Haas CNC lathes to produce quality precision components in a manufacturing environment.

This is an operator-level position. The primary responsibilities will include loading and unloading material, operating the machine, monitoring production, and performing basic quality inspections. CNC programming experience is not required.

The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of manufacturing experience, with previous CNC lathe operation experience preferred. Experience working with aluminum and other metals is a plus. Aerospace manufacturing experience is highly preferred.

Training

The selected candidate will train on 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, for approximately 2 weeks.

Training will provide the opportunity to become familiar with the Haas equipment, production processes, quality requirements, and workplace procedures.

Following training, the candidate will transition to the regular 2nd shift schedule of 2:30 PM–11:00 PM, Monday–Friday.

Compensation & Schedule

Starting Pay: $28.00/hour

Shift: 2nd Shift, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM

Days: Monday–Friday

Overtime: May be required based on production needs

Training: 1st Shift, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM for approximately 2 weeks
