Job summary

B&A Precision is seeking a skilled Machinist to manufacture precision parts in a team environment. You will operate CNC and/or manual machines, interpret blueprints and drawings, and use calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure parts meet exact specifications.

Responsibilities include documenting results, reporting production data, supporting audits, and keeping a clean, organized workstation as part of our continuous improvement culture.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machining equipment (CNC and/or manual)
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Basic computer skills for production reporting systems
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Team-oriented mindset supporting audits and process improvements

Responsibilities

• Machine parts to meet customer specifications using assigned equipment and tooling
• Read and interpret blueprints, apply NC programs, and use precision instruments
• Document work results in the Job Traveler and related paperwork
• Report setup/run times and production data in the E-2 system
• Track scrap and rework labor; support Quality Management System audits
• Maintain clean, organized work area and proper waste disposal
