Job summary

Manpower, Inc. in Fort Collins, CO is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist / Lathe Operator to program, set up, and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts. Mills experience is a plus, and the role offers day shift and competitive pay.

You will read blueprints, select fixturing, and ensure parts meet specifications with attention to detail. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with machining certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in machining is preferred.
• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, with a strong understanding of CNC operation, Lathes Mills a plus.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Familiarity with CNC machining equipment and tools, as well as various machining techniques and processes.

Responsibilities

• Program CNC machines using software programs to perform milling, turning, drilling, and grinding operations.
• Set up CNC machines by installing and aligning workpieces, cutting tools, and fixtures.
• Load and unload workpieces, and change cutting tools as needed.
• Monitor the machining process to ensure accuracy and quality of machined parts.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on CNC machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and part replacement.
• Troubleshoot issues or malfunctions and take corrective actions.

Pay:– $20-$26/ hour DOE
Schedule: Day shift

Our client in Fort Collins is looking for experienced, hardworking, motivated talent to join their team as a CNC Machinist /Lathe Operator. (Mills a plus)
The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality machined parts according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of machining principles, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
