We are looking for CNC / CAM Lathe Operators, with multi axis / multi spindle experience. Our Operators examine blueprints, load and start machines, as well as inspect completed parts.
Below are some of the types of machines we have at our facility:
- New Britain machines
- Euroturn machines (runs both 6 and 8 spindle)
- Davenport machines
- Wickman machines
- Swiss CNC machines (2 spindle CNC machines)
- Hydromat machines
- Index machines (6 spindle)
- CNC Turning machines (2 spindle CNC machines)
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC lathe machines, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Interpret technical drawings and CAD models to produce parts that meet specifications.
- Utilize SolidWorks and other CAD software for programming and design modifications.
- Conduct regular inspections of finished products using precision measuring tools.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot issues that arise during the machining process, including basic logic controllers and Fanuc systems.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team for effective packaging and handling of finished products.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, CAD software, and SolidWorks is preferred.
- Strong understanding of CNC machinery, including Fanuc controls.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining processes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Pay: starting at $19/hr
Schedule: Mon – Fri, 10-hour shift

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
