Job summary
Classic Gears & Machining in Kaukauna, WI is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist for 1st or 2nd shift. You will program, set up, and operate CNC lathes to manufacture precision components, reading blueprints and ensuring quality.

Qualifications
- Three to five years of CNC machining experience.
- Experience programming and setting up CNC equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing docs.
- Proficiency with precision measuring tools.
- Strong math, mechanical aptitude, and problem solving.
- Detail-oriented and capable of independent work.
Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate CNC lathe to produce parts.
- Read blueprints, drawings, and job travelers.
- Select tooling and establish machine setups.
- Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections.
- Monitor performance and adjust for accuracy.
- Troubleshoot issues to reduce scrap.
- Collaborate with team to support safety and quality.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area.
- Work overtime to meet delivery schedules.
