We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our dynamic Finance team. This role is ideal for an individual who is adept at cost accounting, managing accounts payable and receivable, and is proficient in Microsoft Excel. The successful candidate will be responsible for cash flow management, preparing financial statements, and financial reporting. Responsibilities:

1. Overseeing cost accounting procedures and ensuring the accurate allocation of expenses.
2. Managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and accurate record keeping.
3. Utilizing Microsoft Excel to analyse financial data and generate reports.
4. Managing the company's cash flow, including forecasting and budgeting.
5. Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
6. Assisting in the preparation of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and reports for government regulatory agencies.
7. Collaborating with the finance team to streamline accounting procedures and refine financial reporting systems.
8. Liaising with external auditors to facilitate audits and reviews.
9. Assisting with other accounting projects as needed.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Staff Accountant position will have the following qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the finance industry.
3. Proven experience in cost accounting and managing accounts payable and receivable.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create pivot tables, use advanced formulas, and generate reports.
5. Strong knowledge of cash flow management and financial statement preparation.
6. Excellent understanding of financial reporting standards and procedures.
7. Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
8. Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in your work.
9. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
11. CPA certification is a plus.
