Job description

At Air Technical Industries in Mentor, Ohio, we are dedicated to creating and designing unique material handling machinery. We are looking for a dynamic and hard-working individual for responsibilities in the machine shop, manual machining on engine and turret lathes, and some CNC lathes. Additional responsibilities include assembling and testing hydraulic cylinders.

Responsibilities:

1. Plans work assignments by studying drawings, blueprints, and manuals.
2. Sets up equipment by setting adjustments to match specifications and testing tolerances.
3. Fabricates/machines parts by operating equipment; using hand tools.
4. Verifies parts by using precision measuring instruments; tests production routine.
5. Document equipment changes by completing records.
6. Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.

Qualifications:

1. Experience in manufacturing quality is required for this position.
2. Proficiency in controls and instrumentation is a must-have qualification.
3. Ability to maintain equipment is essential for the role.
4. Previous experience in manufacturing operations with job knowledge is preferred.
5. Familiarity with mechanical inspection tools is necessary.
