Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $19 - $22 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a CNC Lathe And Mill Programmer / Operator:

• Create programs for CNC turning centers and mills
• Set up and run production on multiple machines simultaneously, as needed
• Manage BOMs and prioritize work according to the production schedule
• Optimize programming strategies to improve quality and increase productivity
• Work with management, engineering, and operators to develop corrective and preventive actions that resolve manufacturing-related quality issues
• Lead and promote efforts to foster a culture of lean manufacturing and quality excellence
• Maintain clear records and documentation of programs
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment
• Assist in training and mentoring other employees

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
• Deep understanding of lathe and mill operations, technical blueprints, and 3D models
• Proficiency with G-code and M-code programming at the machine control center
• Expert knowledge of the Autodesk Fusion Manufacturing workspace
• Proficiency in selecting appropriate tools and cutting conditions for machining operations
• Experience designing and developing workholding fixtures
• Must be proficient in the metric system
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented
• Able to perform effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse workforce
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Background check and drug test required
