Job summary

Demco is seeking a laser operator to join our fabrication department. This role focuses on running lasers and supporting other fabrication tasks. Reading measuring tools and basic computer knowledge are essential; experience preferred but not required.

Hours are Monday through Thursday, 6:00am to 4:30pm, with Fridays as needed. Eligible for a sign-on bonus and a competitive benefits package is offered to support your skills and expertise.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and use measuring tools accurately.
• Good computer knowledge and basic data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Program the laser to cut, bend and press parts per print.
• Load steel onto the laser with proper equipment.
• Unload finished parts and stack by size and material.
• Enter data into the computer accurately.
• Use software to optimize parts layout for material usage.
• Interpret shop orders, customer orders and drawings.
