Job summary
Top Metal Solutions is seeking a CNC Laser Cutting Operator to support metal fabrication operations in Adkins, TX. The role requires loading cutting files, setting up materials, and monitoring cuts on a Bodor laser or similar equipment.
Training is provided even if Bodor experience is not required, with emphasis on learning the CNC cutting process and quality inspection. Responsibilities include loading files, nesting, verifying material specs, running the machine, and inspecting finished parts
Qualifications
- Experience operating CNC or automated cutting equipment.
- Basic understanding of CNC cutting processes.
- Ability to read measurements, drawings, and production instructions.
- Experience using basic measuring tools.
- Comfortable using computers and machine control systems.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Responsibilities
- Operate a Bodor or similar CNC fiber laser cutting machine.
- Load and review CNC cutting files such as DXF or similar formats.
- Perform basic nesting and job setup.
- Inspect finished parts for accuracy and cut quality.
- Read basic blueprints and production instructions.
- Maintain a safe and organized work area.
- Learn and support other CNC equipment as needed.
