Job summary

Employment Solutions is seeking an experienced CNC Laser Set Up Operator for a manufacturing facility in the Oakland Park area. The role involves setting up, operating, and programming CNC laser equipment to produce parts that meet drawings and specifications.

The position requires at least 2 years of CNC laser experience, ability to read shop drawings, and forklift/Combilift familiarity. Schedule is Monday–Thursday, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM, with pay $25–$30/hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience/training.
• At least 2 years of experience setting up and operating CNC laser machines.
• Ability to read and understand shop drawings.
• Experience operating a Combilift and/or forklift.
• Experience using measuring tools such as calipers and tape measures.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC laser machines.
• Adjust machine settings and cutting parameters to get the best results.
• Perform daily machine inspections and cleaning.
• Check the first cut part to make sure it matches the drawing and required specifications.
• Load and unload metal sheets using the loader system.
• Work with other departments as needed.
• Perform other job duties as required by the business.
• Keep the work area clean, safe, and organized.
