Job summary

Advantest Corporation seeks a skilled CNC Journeyman Machinist for its Chandler, AZ location. The role focuses on setting up Hermle, Matsuura and Mikron 5-axis machines to run high-mix, low-volume work.

You’ll ensure program integrity, inspect parts to spec, and drive quality while supporting automation goals. You will work a 6:00 AM–2:30 PM day shift, collaborating with a team to meet production schedules, perform preventive maintenance, and resolve issues with a hands-on, solutions-focused

Qualifications

• 10 to 20 years experience with CNC Mills and Manual equipment
• 5 axis experience would be a plus
• Advanced understanding of GD&T; knows how to measure using proper measuring instruments
• Able to read & understand blueprints, customer drawings, SOPs, WIs and all technical info in English
• Troubleshoot CAM, PostP, Programmer, & Machine; fabricate complex modifications to assemblies

Responsibilities

• Set-up Hermle, Matsuura and Mikron 5 axis machines for multiple jobs
• Operate and control processes on all products produced on machine shop equipment
• Follow manufacturing schedule and work instructions
• Ensure compliance to manufacturing and automation processes
• Maintain quality records per Inspection Plan
• Perform daily preventive maintenance and provide spare parts as needed
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems; perform root cause analysis
• Prepare pallets and optimize automation output

We foster an integrity-centered culture, where honesty, inclusion, and respect are the foundation of everything we do.### Job Description**This position is for Essai Test Solutions, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of Advantest America, Inc. located in****Chandler, AZ.****DAY SHIFT: 6:00AM - 2:30PM*** **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** + Set-up Hermle, Matsuura and Mikron 5 axis machines capable of multiple jobs running together, prove out programs, program trouble shooting and debugging. + Operates and control process on all products produced on all machine shop equipment for high mix low volume dynamic. + Responsible for executing production plan according to manufacturing schedule and work instructions. + Responsible for ensuring compliance to manufacturing and automation process. + Responsible for controlling quality of product according to Inspection Plan and maintaining quality records. + Maintains and performs daily preventive machine maintenance and supplies all machine related needs. + Trouble shoot and solve minor to complex problems and issues. Conduct major root cause analysis. + Establish pallet quantities required for each job for best automation output.Responsible for completing all other related or un-related assigned tasks or duties from management### Requirements**Minimum Qualification Requirement:*** 10 to 20 years’ experience with CNC Mills and Manual equipment, 5 axis experience would be a plus (+)* Experience with Grinders, Lathes, EDM and WaterJet would be a plus (+)* Advanced understanding of G.D. & T.
