Job summary

A leading technical college in Wisconsin is seeking a part-time Instructor in Computer Numerical Control (CNC) to teach and manage coursework related to CNC machining. Candidates must have significant experience in CNC programming and relevant educational qualifications. Responsibilities include classroom instruction, curriculum development, and student assessment. This role offers a salary of $40 per course hour, starting in fall 2024, with additional compensation for office hours.

Qualifications

• Must have completed Wisconsin Indentured apprenticeship in Machine Tool or Tool and Die or an Associate/Bachelor Degree in CNC.
• Minimum five years of relevant work experience in CNC programming.
• Experience teaching Numerical Control coursework at the post-secondary level is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach CNC machining setup and operations in a laboratory setting.
• Develop and manage coursework and curriculum for machine tool operations.
• Assess student performance and guide students on academic issues.
