Job summary

Oceaneering is seeking Inside Machinists to support the manufacturing of submarine components in a low-volume, build‑to‑print environment.

You will program, setup, and operate CNC and manual machines, interpret complex blueprints, and maintain tight tolerances with exotic alloys. This role emphasizes quality, safety, and ongoing process improvements within the Marine Services Division.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience machining submarine, defense, or similar critical components.
• Proficient in CNC programming for lathe and mill; capable of full setup.
• Able to read complex blueprints and GD&T.
• Skilled with precision measuring tools and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Program, edit, and verify CNC programs for lathe and mill.
• Set up, align, and secure fixtures and tooling for jobs.
• Machine one-off submarine-grade components with tight tolerances.
