KCC Companies, an employee-owned (ESOP) manufacturer, seeks a CNC Machinist in Louisville, KY to operate CNC machinery, maintain parts inventory, and help ensure quality in a manufacturing environment. The role supports our mission to deliver reliable HVAC components and services safely and efficiently.

Formación

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly.
• Reports defective equipment to Supervisor.
• Maintain inventory levels of consumable parts within the area.
• Prepare and operate CNC machinery to perform necessary production tasks.
• Perform simple, routine maintenance of CNC machinery.
• Inspect parts for quality defects.

Essential Functions:

• Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly.
• Reporting of defective equipment to Supervisor.
• Maintain inventory levels of consumable parts within the area.
• Prepare and operate CNC machinery to perform necessary production tasks.
• Perform simple, routine maintenance of CNC machinery.
• Inspect parts for quality defects.

Safety Responsibilities:

• Gain knowledge of applicable health and safety legislation as well as plant safety rules to perform duties safely and in compliance with all KCC rules and regulations.
• Participate in toolbox talks & monthly training.
• Take every reasonable precaution for the protection of your coworkers.
• Take immediate action to address unsafe acts or conditions and report issues to management.
• Assist in accident investigations (as needed) to identify the root cause in a timely manner.
• Complete accident and incident reports (near miss) in a timely manner.
