Job summary

KCC Companies is seeking a CNC I Operator for the 3rd shift (Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM) in Louisville, KY. You will prepare and operate CNC machinery to perform essential production tasks, and conduct basic maintenance while inspecting parts for quality.

Essential Functions:

• Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly.
• Reporting of defective equipment to Supervisor.
• Maintain inventory levels of consumable parts within the area.
• Prepare and operate CNC machinery to perform necessary production tasks.
• Perform simple, routine maintenance of CNC machinery.
• Inspect parts for quality defects.

Safety Responsibilities:

• Gain knowledge of applicable health and safety legislation as well as plant safety rules to perform duties safely and in compliance with all KCC rules and regulations.
• Participate in toolbox talks & monthly training.
• Take every reasonable precaution for the protection of your coworkers.
• Take immediate action to address unsafe acts or conditions and report issues to management.
• Assist in accident investigations (as needed) to identify the root cause in a timely manner.
