Job summary

Prince Industries LLC in Tampa, Florida, is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to manufacture precision metal parts on Horizontal Machining Centers (Mori Seiki and Enshu) for aerospace applications.

You will read and interpret process plans, edit and troubleshoot programs, verify work with inspection instruments, complete paperwork, and perform basic maintenance to keep machines running. ISO 9001:2015, AS9100, and ASME Y14.5 GD&T training and Fanuc controls experience are highly regarded.

Qualifications

• ISO 9001 & AS9100 certified training.
• ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards knowledge.
• 5 years' experience setting and operating horizontal machining centers.
• 5 years' experience in precision CNC machining.
• Experience with Fanuc controls.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret process plans and blueprints to determine machining needs.
• Edit and troubleshoot programs for process improvements.
• Use inspection instruments to verify parts per print.
• Complete part identification, inspection docs, and production logs.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and checks.

Job Summary

Manufacturing Precision Metal Products on CNC Machining Centers. Qualified to Setup and Operate Horizontal Machining Centers manufactured by Mori Seiki and Enshu. Machining metallic and nonmetallic workpieces for the Aerospace Industry by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Read and interpret process plans, and blueprints todeterminenecessary machining, dimensional specifications, set up, and operating requirements.
• Ability to edit and troubleshoot programs for process improvements.
• Utilizesvarious typesof inspection instruments to check work per print.
• Completes necessary job-related paperwork to include part identification, inspection documents, and production log.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance: proper coolant levels, filters, fan operation, cleans machine, etc.

Education and Experience

• Certified Training - ISO 9001 & AS9100
• Certified Training - ASME Y14.5 GD\u0026T Standards.
• 5 Years - Setup and Operating Horizontal Machining Centers
• 5 Years - Precision CNC Machining
• Experience with Fanuc Controls

Physical Job Requirements

• Regularly required to stand and reach the duration of shift, 8 hours.
• Occasionally required to walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or bend.
• Frequently required to perform repetitive or short-cycleswork.
• Regularly lift, push, or pull up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Strong work ethic: Willing to work OT to meet tight deadlines as needed.

Compensation

$26 - $32 per hour
