Jobot is seeking a mid‑level CNC Grinder to support production of precision components in our Los Angeles facility. You will set up and operate CNC grinding machines, inspect parts, and adjust controls to maintain quality and efficiency. Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in CNC machining or grinding operations.
• Ability to set up and operate CNC machines.
• Knowledge of speeds, feeds and machine functions.
• Ability to independently follow instructions and concentrate for long periods.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
• Consistent work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Full-time, onsite position.
• Set up and operate CNC grinding machines per work orders, blueprints, and specifications.
• Start and observe machine operations; report malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions.
• Conduct first-part inspections and make adjustments as needed.
• Verify finished parts against specifications using precision measuring tools.
• Adjust machine controls to optimize speeds, feeds, and depth of cut.
• Read and interpret engineering/manufacturing drawings.
• Identify production/quality problems and escalate when needed.
• Complete tasks within timeframes with moderate supervision.
• Assist in training entry-level operators as needed.
• Follow all safety guidelines and protective procedures.
• Perform miscellaneous duties in the machine shop or as assigned.
