Zusammenfassung

Elos Medtech in Memphis, TN is seeking a Rollo Matic Grinding Operator on 2nd shift to set up, operate, and maintain Rollomatic CNC grinders for high-precision medical components. Requires high school diploma and 3 years manufacturing experience, plus experience with Rollomatic or similar CNC equipment.

You will read blueprints, perform in-process inspections, ensure GMP, ISO 13485 and FDA compliance, and participate in continuous improvement while maintaining 5S workplace and lifting up to 50

Experience operating Rollomatic CNC grinders or other high-precision CNC equipment.

Aufgaben

Set up and operate Rollomatic CNC grinders for production of medical-grade components.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production specifications.
Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, optical comparators, and other precision measuring instruments.
Adjust machine settings and tool offsets to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish requirements are met.
Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot minor issues, and escalate complex problems to maintenance or engineering as needed.
Document production data, lot traceability, and inspection results per GMP.
Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, FDA regulations, and internal quality policies.
Maintain clean and organized workstation in accordance with 5S principles.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and safety.

The Rollo Matic Grinding Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Rollo Matic CNC grinding machines to manufacture high‑precision components used in medical devices. The role requires strict adherence to safety standards, quality control protocols, and regulatory guidelines applicable to the medical device industry.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate Rollomatic CNC grinders for production of medical‑grade components (e.g., surgical tools, orthopedic pins, guide wires)
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production specifications
Perform in‑process inspections using micrometers, optical comparators, and other precision measuring instruments
Adjust machine settings and tool offsets to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish requirements are met
Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot minor issues, and escalation complex problems to maintenance or engineering as needed
Document production data, lot traceability, and inspection results per Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, FDA regulations, and internal quality policies

CNC Rollomatic Grinding Operator (2nd Shift)

Skills

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving and math skills
Ability to follow instructions and work independently
Ability to lift 25 – 50 lbs

Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent
3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience operating Rollomatic CNC grinders or other high‑precision CNC equipment

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods (8+ hours)
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs occasion
Visual acuity required for close inspection and fine work
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by safety protocols
