Umbra-Cuscinetti in Everett, WA seeks a skilled machinist to set up and operate Hobbing, Shaping, Broaching CNC and manual machines under supervision, producing high-precision aerospace components from blueprints. On-the-job training included, with emphasis on part quality during production cycles.

The role emphasizes strict attention to detail, ability to read drawings, and teamwork in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience cutting gears and splines.
• Able to read technical drawings and blueprints.
• English communication and teamwork abilities; U.S. citizen or green card may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate Shaping, Hobbing and Broaching CNC and Manual machines daily.
• Monitor equipment during cycles to detect out-of-tolerance parts.
• Use micrometers, calipers and precision instruments for part validation.
• Inspect parts as they come off the machine.
• Perform deburring tasks as required during cycles.
• Follow production schedules and machine setup sheets.
• Study and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Adhere to 5S workplace guidelines and safety rules.
• Support TPM activities related to machinery and equipment.
• Perform other related manufacturing tasks as directed.
