Bedrock Truckbeds in Shiner, Texas is seeking a skilled CNC Folding Machine Operator to set up and run Schröder CNC folding equipment, producing precise sheet metal components for truck beds.

You will read blueprints, select tooling, and optimize machine settings while supporting first article runs and collaborating with Engineering to troubleshoot forming issues and improve processes. This role emphasizes quality, safety, and efficient production.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating CNC sheet metal folding or bending equipment.
• Experience with Schröder CNC folding machines preferred.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Schröder CNC folding equipment per job orders and specs.
• Read blueprints, tolerances, bend requirements, and drawings.
• Select tooling and machine settings based on material and part needs.
• Support first article runs and verify parts meet drawings and quality.
• Produce complex, tight-tolerance parts requiring careful setup and judgment.
• Work with Engineering to troubleshoot forming issues and modify programs.
• Adjust programs for material variation, bend allowance, and springback.
• Provide feedback to Engineering on tooling and methods improvements.
• Help establish repeatable setups for production transfer.
