Job summary
DIMAR MANUFACTURING in Clarence, NY is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production and facility equipment to keep machinery running safely and efficiently.
You will assist in repairs, service CNC machines such as press brakes, lathes and mills, diagnose malfunctions, and perform wiring, conduit, and electrical installations in a dust-prone shop environment. A high school diploma and 2+ years in manufacturing maintenance are required.
Qualifications
- Basic equipment maintenance: follow directions precisely.
- Technical understanding of maintenance concepts.
- Able to handle uncertainty in a proactive manner.
- Basic safety practices; OSHA certifications a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist in repair of equipment as directed.
- Ensure CNC machinery operation by preventive maintenance.
- Inspect, operate, or test CNC and manual machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
- Dismantle machines to access and replace defective parts.
- Control downtime by informing production of preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components.
- Maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing and facility.
- Measure, cut and install wiring and conduit.
- Install and configure electrical equipment.
- Follow electrical blueprints and schematics.
