Job summary

McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking Assemblers in Riceville, IA to program, set up, and operate CNC machines including laser and plasma cutting, and related processes. This role supports production by ensuring quality and efficiency in part fabrication.

Starting pay ranges from $19.00 to $25.48 per hour based on experience, with a $2/hour shift differential for 2nd shift and benefits from Day 1. PTO and opportunities for pay increases every 6 months are offered.

Qualifications

• Six months of applicable position experience or evaluated equivalent.
• Ability to use, read, and understand general fabrication tools (tape measure, protractor, calipers).

Responsibilities

• Maintain quality and safety standards while operating equipment.
• Read drawings to ensure parts are produced within tolerance using calipers, protractors, and tape measures.
• Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Use basic hand tools such as wrenches, hammers, pry bars, grinders, magnets, pliers.
• Operate lifting devices and handle materials up to 10,000 lbs.
