Job summary

Corning Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician with at least five years of CNC maintenance experience. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of CNC machines (Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi) and related systems in a manufacturing setting.

You’ll work with cross-functional teams to ensure uptime, implement mechanical repairs, and train Level I & II technicians as needed. Strong safety focus and ability to read technical documentation are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum five years in CNC machine maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to read safety/maintenance docs.
• Ability to train other technicians when needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair manufacturing equipment incl. CNC mills and lathes.
• Perform mechanical repairs and alignments on multiple machine types.
• Troubleshoot hydraulics, electronics, and control systems.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for timely work.
• Maintain safety, quality, and maintenance records.
