Job summary

Amity Die & Stamping Co. in Lake Forest, IL is seeking a CNC Operator / Die Maker responsible for programming, operating, and maintaining CNC mills. Proficiency with CAD, SmartCAM or similar CAM software is required, and experience in building and maintaining small to medium progressive dies is essential.

You will maintain die records with timing information, collaborate with team members, and work overtime as needed to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and TMA certificate or equivalent.
• Experience working in Manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge and operation of tool room equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ability to follow procedures and instructions per ISO requirements.
• Good written & verbal skills in English; Spanish bilingual is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime when necessary.
• Must be able to work as a team member and not only as an individual.
• Dependable and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Program, operate and maintain CNC mills.
• Build and maintain small to medium progressive die (forming, draw, coining and compound dies).
• Maintain die records along with timing information.
• Work well with others; overtime will be necessary at times.
