Job summary

Federal Signal Corporation, a leading manufacturing company, seeks a dependable production operator in Belgrade, MT. You will operate plasma and oxy-fuel cutting equipment and support loadings, labeling, and staging of steel parts to keep production flowing.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, comfort working outdoors in all weather, and the ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision. A safety-focused mindset and reliable teamwork are essential for success on this fast-paced shop

Responsibilities

• Operate plasma and oxy-fuel cutting table.
• Assist with loading and unloading cut table.
• Label and sort cut parts.
• Staging of steel plate for upcoming programs.
• Process and unload steel deliveries.
• Organize steel plate storage and maintain safety.

Job description

Responsibilities(include but are not limited to)

• Operate plasma & oxy fuel cutting table
• Assist with loading and unloading cut table
• Label and sort cut parts
• Help with staging of steel plate for upcoming programs
• Process & unload steel deliveries
• Organize and label steel plate in the storage yard
• Clean cutting table trays
• Empty dust collection barrels as needed
• Manage storage of wood pallets & stickers
• Actively maintain a clean & safe work area
