Qualifications

• 2+ years CNC operation experience.
• Experience with coping/beam lines preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints/shop drawings.
• Experience with setup and basic CNC troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC coping/cutting machines.
• Read and interpret structural steel shop drawings and dimensions.
• Load/unload steel using overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Perform coping, cutting, drilling, and other programmed operations.
• Inspect finished parts using tape measures, calipers, squares, and other measuring tools.
• Perform tooling changes, basic machine adjustments, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and productive work area.

Job Description

Operate CNC coping and cutting equipment to process structural steel beams, columns, channels, and other components. Responsible for machine setup, operation, material handling, quality inspection, and meeting production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC coping/cutting machines.
• Read and interpret structural steel shop drawings and dimensions.
• Load/unload steel using overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Perform coping, cutting, drilling, and other programmed operations.
• Inspect finished parts using tape measures, calipers, squares, and other measuring tools.
• Perform tooling changes, basic machine adjustments, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and productive work area.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of CNC machine operation experience.
• Previous CNC coping/beam line experience strongly preferred.
• Structural steel fabrication experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints/shop drawings.
• Experience with machine setup, tooling changes, and basic CNC troubleshooting.
• Proficient with tape measures, calipers, squares, and other measuring tools.
• Experience operating around overhead cranes and forklifts.
