Job summary

OnePointe Solutions LLC is seeking a CNC programmer/designer to nest and program sheet metal parts for punching on CNC punch and laser equipment. You will maximize sheet utilization, verify tooling clearances, and ensure programmed parts match BOM quantities while collaborating with machine operators to resolve issues.

Required experience with Amada equipment and Dr. Abe programming software, ISO 9001 knowledge, strong attention to detail, and excellent verbal/written communication.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Experience with Amada equipment and Dr. Abe software preferred.
• ISO 9001 compliance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Nest and program sheet metal parts using CAM software for CNC punch and laser.
• Check programs for accuracy before release to production.
• Maintain and update stored part programs and revisions.
• Assist with tooling inventory and material handling.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and perform related duties.

Responsible for maximizing sheet utilization and reduce waste, checking for proper tooling and clearances, the accuracy of programmed parts to Bill of Material quantities, and working with machine operators to resolve programming issues for efficient manufacturing. Experience with Amada equipment, Dr. Abe programming software, ISO 9001 compliance, and prior programming experience is a plus.
