Job summary

Monticello Spring is seeking a CNC/Coiler Operator (Setup Operator) to ensure quality and safety in machining operations. You will adjust mechanical components, prepare tools, troubleshoot, and control processes on CNC coiling machines.

The role requires at least 2 years as a CNC Machinist, ability to read blueprints, and attention to detail. Work hours are typically 8-hour shifts on weekdays, with occasional additional schedules as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders.
• Fork truck training is preferred.
• Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform first piece approval per setup approval process.
• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Set up and operate CNC machines per specifications.
• Read blueprints and engineering drawings to determine dimensions.
• Select, align, and secure fixtures, tools, and material.
• Clean and maintain area and equipment regularly.
• Adhere to safety requirements for designated machines/area.
• Communicate quality concerns to supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and order per 5S standards.
• Maintain and report status of measuring devices.
