Job summary

LewisGale Regional Health System seeks a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinate unit operations. The CNC partners with management to monitor nursing care and serves as a staff resource to support an exceptional patient experience.

The role involves coordinating with a multidisciplinary team, assisting with admissions/discharges, driving outcomes with leadership and coaching staff, and helping with scheduling.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN licensure is required for practice.
• Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in nursing or related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care with a multidisciplinary team.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Support improved outcomes and service with leadership and subject-matter experts.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies. The CNC serves as a resource for staff and supports an unparalleled patient experience.

What you will do in this role:

• Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.


• Assist with admission and discharge processes.


• Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.


• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.


• Assist with staff scheduling.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date


• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date


• (RN) Registered Nurse


• Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree
