You will prepare materials, assist with setup, and handle finished parts while maintaining housekeeping and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to learn CNC burning operations.
• Basic measuring skills preferred.
• Ability to read work instructions and production paperwork.
• Strong attendance and reliability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Burner Operator with daily production activities.
• Load, unload, and position steel plates using overhead cranes or other material handling equipment.
• Prepare materials for burning operations.
• Remove cut parts from tables and organize completed material.
• Grind, clean, and prepare finished parts as required.
• Identify, mark, and stage material for the next operation.
• Verify work orders and assist in ensuring material matches production requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Communicate production issues or equipment concerns to the supervisor.
