Qualifications

• Typically requires 1-3 years of related experience or may need 6 months of experience with similar specialized equipment, or relevant training and/or machine operation certification.
• Related Machine Operation certification is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints or drawings.

Responsibilities

• Programs, sets up, and operates CNC milling, lathe, or other machinery according to blueprint specifications
• Tests accuracy of settings and programs
• Inspects parts using precision measuring tools
• Operates machines and monitors operation and controls panel displays to detect malfunctions and make adjustments
• Follows established quality and safety standards
• May be required to read blueprints or drawings
• Measure and mark forming materials to correct dimensions
• Cut/saw forming materials
• Clean up work area
• Perform miscellaneous duties as directed by Supervisor
