Job summary

Tindall Corporation is a leading precast concrete manufacturer with locations across the southeastern U.S. The company seeks a production operator to run automated equipment, follow safety and quality standards, and assist with setup, operation, and troubleshooting.

A high school diploma or GED is required, with 1–3 months of related experience. The role involves measuring materials, cutting/sawing forming materials, and maintaining a clean, safe work area while following supervisor instructions

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–3 months related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and quality rules to ensure a safe working environment and the production of high-quality products.
• Select appropriate settings and make adjustments as necessary.
• Follow established quality and safety standards.
• Assist/train to fully set up, operate and troubleshoot specialized automated manufacturing equipment.
• Measure and mark forming materials to correct dimensions.
• Cut/saw forming materials.
• Clean up work area.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as directed by Supervisor.

Summary of Primary Functions: Responsible for operating one or more types of automated production equipment. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• All employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment, and the production of high-quality products.

• Selects appropriate settings and makes adjustments, as necessary.

• Follows established quality and safety standards.

• Assists/Trains to fully set up, operate and troubleshoot specialized automated manufacturing equipment

• Clean up work area.

• Perform miscellaneous duties as directed by Supervisor.

Machines, Tools, and Equipment Used: May include one or more of the following: T-Slab Machine, Automated Bar Bender, Robotic Welder, CNC Machine, Plasma Table or Automated Forming Machine.

Job Specifications or Qualifications

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
