Job summary

Donson Machine Company in Alsip, IL is seeking an entry-level CNC Support Staff member for the night shift, with the opportunity to join a 7-week training bootcamp and progress into CNC machinist roles in lathe, mill, or EDM departments.

Applicants may have limited CNC experience but must be punctual, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and stand most of the day in a shop environment with exposure to noise and solvents. Health benefits and 401K are available.

Qualifications

• High School Degree (or Equivalent).
• 2 Years Job Experience (part-time/summer jobs okay for those just graduating).
• Be punctual and maintain an excellent attendance record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk up to 90% of the day.
• Ability to bend, twist, turn, and reach up to 100% of the day.
• Ability to work in a shop environment - exposure to hazardous metal working machinery and equipment, loud noises, dust, mist, oils and solvents.
