RENK America Marine & Industry is hiring multiple full-time Machinists in Cincinnati, OH to support our second-shift team across Milling, Turning, Cutting and Grinding. Set up and operate CNC and manual machines to produce precision components while upholding safety and quality standards.

Candidates with varying experience are welcome; your role includes reading G & M code, proving out programs, inspecting parts with micrometers and calipers, and collaborating with a skilled team in a

• Must be able to read orders and work instructions.
• Must read and understand processes and process drawings.
• Must have mechanical skills.
• Must be able to obtain Security Clearance.
• Must be able to lift and handle heavy parts using cranes.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC and/or manual lathes, milling machines, grinders, and gear cutting machines depending on equipment.
• Read and Understand G & M Code; prove out programs.
• Set up machines per specifications and operate according to manufacturing processes.
• Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
• Maintain safety and quality standards as part of a team.

Job Summary

RENK America Marine & Industry is hiring multiple full-time Machinists across Milling, Turning, Cutting, and Grinding operations to support our growing second-shift team. We offer opportunities on a wide range of machines and welcome candidates with varying levels of experience who are eager to build or advance their machining career. In these roles, you will set up and operate equipment to produce precision components while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.

Description

• Work in a culture of Safety First with a focus on producing quality parts to drive for success as a team
• Operate machines such as CNC and/or manual lathes, milling machines, grinders, and gear cutting machines depending on expertise on specific equipment.
• Read and Understand G & M Code
• Prove out Programs
• Set up machine as appropriate to machine specifications.
• Operate machines according to processes provided in the manufacturing of components.
• Use and interpret precision measuring instruments/gauges such as micrometers and calipers
• Any other duties assigned by Management

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to read orders and work instructions
• Must be able to read and understand processes and process drawings
• Must have mechanical skills
• Must be able to lift and handle heavy parts using overhead cranes and other material handling equipment and must be able to bend and lift
• Walking, standing, lifting, stooping, reaching
• Physical demand to make setup and perform machining operations
• May work in tight and/or cramped spaces
• Some lifting of various weights, both assisted and unassisted
• Use cranes or other device for heavy lifting
• Must be able to obtain Security Clearance.

Preferred Additional Skills

• 2+ Years of experience in machining
• Familiar with face milling, reaming, boring, and line boring (specific to Milling)
• Familiar with steady rest and tailstock (specific to Turning)
• Ability to read and edit programs using Fagor or Fanuc controls
• Familiar with G-Code
