Job summary

Bocar US, Inc. is seeking a CNC Technician in Tanner, AL to perform setup and changeovers on 5‑axis horizontal mills. You will load/unload tools, swap fixtures, and run NC programs, staying at the machine to assist until first piece verification, then supporting operators as needed.

Qualified candidates have at least two years in manufacturing, strong communication, and teamwork skills, plus high school diploma with technical training. The role emphasizes safety and 5S compliance.

Qualifications

• At least two years of relevant experience in a technician role in a manufacturing operation.
• Coordination and organizing abilities required.
• Effective communication with employees, vendors, contractors, and management.
• Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• High school diploma and technical career desirable.

Responsibilities

• Set up and changeovers on 5‑axis horizontal mills.
• Load/unload tools, change fixtures, and run the NC program.
• Assist operator after production begins and resolve issues.
• Stage tooling, including heat‑shrink loading, balancing and pre‑setting length.
• Provide support at the machine and ensure first piece verification.
