Job summary

Right at Home Greater Jax is seeking caring CNAs and HHAs to provide essential in-home support to clients who need help today and every day. You will bring dignity and independence to clients in their own homes.

Responsibilities include transfers and mobility, light housekeeping, meal preparation, companionship, errands and medical appointments, bathing and grooming, medication reminders, and simple ROM exercises. CPR, TB test, and AHCA background check are required.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Pass AHCA background check.
• CPR certification required.
• Current TB test.

Responsibilities

• Assist with transfers and mobility.
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Accompany clients to errands or medical appointments.
• Bathing, dressing, grooming, and shaving.
• Medication reminders and ROM exercises.
• Provide companionship through reading, music, puzzles, etc.
• Ensure client safety and respond to needs promptly.

Responsibilities and Duties:

In this role, you will assist clients with activities of daily living, including but not limited to:

• Assisting with transfers and mobility

• Light housekeeping (vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, dishes, laundry, bathroom cleaning)

• Meal preparation and snacks

• Accompanying clients to errands or medical appointments

• Bathing, dressing, grooming, and shaving

• Medication reminders

• Assisting with prescribed range-of-motion exercises

• Dementia care

• Companionship activities (reading, music, puzzles, etc.)

Qualifications and Skills:

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

• Pass a background check (AHCA)
