Job summary

Whiting Gardens Rehab Center, a premier skilled nursing facility in New Jersey, has immediate openings for enthusiastic and energetic CNAs for all shifts to join our dedicated team. This role offers a $1,250 signing bonus paid after successful completion of the initial 90-day probation period.

Under supervised professional guidance, CNAs provide direct nursing care, promote resident comfort, assist with daily activities and essential duties, and participate in a supportive, patient-centered

Qualifications

• Current NJ CNA Certification required.
• Previous Long Term Care experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promotes resident hygiene and comfort.
• Distributes food/water and feeds residents.
• Assists with repositioning and transferring residents.
• Ambulates and transports residents.
• Records and totals fluid intake and output.
• Weighs residents.
• Documents on flow sheets.
• Assists with admission, discharge and postmortem care.
• Responds to call lights promptly.
• Performs perineal care and uncomplicated colostomy care.
• Reports observations & assessments to the Team Leader/Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse.
• Takes and records vital signs.
• Makes beds and keeps resident’s units clean and orderly.
• Prepares room for housekeeping after discharge.
