Job summary

Osceola Regional Health Center, located in Osceola, IA, seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care in accordance with the care plan while supporting residents’ dignity and independence. This role requires effective communication with residents, families, and the caregiving team, and adherence to safety and infection-control policies.

The CNA will assist with daily living activities, bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility, and documentation, with CPR-certification preferred

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; or student age 16+.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Child/Adult Abuse certification required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Communicates effectively with residents, patients, families and coworkers.
• Assists with daily living activities per care plan and maintains dignity and independence.
• Assists with bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility and comfort measures.
• Transports patients and documents cares and status changes.
• Follows safety, infection control and facility procedures.
