Job summary

Paradigm Northwest in Houston, TX is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team as a full-time caregiver. You will provide direct nursing care under a nurse's supervision, support residents with daily living activities, and help maintain dignity and comfort for residents in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Active, unencumbered CNA certification to practice in Texas is required.
• Two years of long-term care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care according to state and federal regulations, facility policies, and nurse direction.
• Perform resident care duties including transporting, restocking, linen changes, positioning, bathing, assistance with meals and hydration, vitals, and basic care as needed.
• Document observations and care delivered to residents and report to the nursing supervisor promptly.
• Ensure timely nursing interventions and maintain professional, respectful care that preserves resident dignity and privacy.
• Follow facility policies and coordinate with other resident services for seamless care.
