Job summary

Piper Shores is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our health center team in Scarborough, Maine. This weekend warrior role covers Saturday and Sunday shifts, delivering patient-centered care and assisting residents with daily living activities to ensure comfort and safety.

The successful candidate will hold an active Maine CNA license, work well in a team or independently, and be committed to ongoing growth while providing high-quality care.

The CNA performs a wide variety of tasks including assistance with activities of daily living, responding to routine and emergency calls, performing routine nursing duties, and personal care activities. Weekend Warrior schedule is every weekend (Saturday & Sunday) 10am-10pm and 6am-6pm. This is a wonderful, UNIQUE opportunity in our Health Center! CNA Weekend Warriors have the opportunity to work weekend shifts of 24 hours and get compensated for 32 hours! This is a great opportunity to earn full-time benefits and full-time pay, while only working 24 hours a week!

CNA Job Duties

• Assists residents in our traditional skilled care unit (nursing home) with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, dining and activities.
• Demonstrates person-centered care in all elements of CNA functions and interactions.
• Ensures resident comfort and safety at all times, providing friendly, timely, and quality care.
• Promotes infection control practices; promotes and maintains resident health; and fosters a safe environment for residents, themselves, and their co-workers.
