Job summary

Missouri Veterans Home seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate care to our Veterans. You will follow individualized care plans, document observations, and support daily activities including grooming, feeding, mobility, and basic nursing tasks.

You’ll collaborate with a dedicated nursing team, perform vitals and measurements, and may work overtime to ensure high-quality care for our Veterans.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid certified nursing assistant certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent Veteran care and support according to the individualized care plan.
• Communicate and document information to nursing staff regarding Veterans’ needs, preferences and/or complaints.
• Attend to individual needs including grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, toileting, skin care, and mobility.
• Accurately perform and document vitals, heights, and weights.
• Walk and stand for extended periods; assist with transfers and ambulation; work overtime as needed.
