Job summary

Missouri Veterans Home is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate, in-class care to our veterans and to collaborate with a dedicated nursing team. You will follow individualized care plans to support daily living activities and comfort, while maintaining dignity and respect for every resident.

The role involves documenting vitals and observations, assisting with grooming, feeding, mobility, and other needs, and communicating effectively with nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid certified nursing assistant certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide Veteran care according to the individualized care plan.
• Document and communicate information to nursing staff about Veterans’ needs and observations.
• Assist with grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, incontinent care, toileting, and mobility as required.
• Accurately perform and document vitals, heights, and weights.
• Stand/walk extensively and assist with transfers and repositioning as needed.
• Work overtime as needed.
