Job summary
Tennessee State Veterans’ Home is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to care for veterans in our facility. Positions are available for day and night shifts (7a-7p, 7p-7a) with opportunities to work with licensed nurses and a dedicated care team.
Salary ranges from $17.08 to $23.12 per hour, with a retention bonus for full-time employees up to $10,000. Benefits include health, dental, vision insurance, paid time off, and a pension. Equal opportunity employer.
Qualifications
- Current and active Nurse Aide Certification.
- Caring individual willing to assist residents and provide a safe environment.
- Able to work independently and with nursing staff to meet residents' needs.
- Able to read and understand standard English.
- Willing to work as part of a caring team to provide the best possible care.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with bathing, feeding, daily hygiene, toileting, lifting, turning and repositioning.
- Work with Licensed Nurses and other team members to meet residents' needs and ensure high-quality care.
- Provide compassionate care and maintain resident safety and comfort.
