Job summary

Richland Nursing and Rehab is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Van Driver to join our transportation team. You will safely transport residents to medical appointments and ensure comfort and safety throughout the journey.

This role requires CNA certification, a valid CDL with a clean record, and the ability to lift and transfer patients. Evening and weekend availability is expected as part of varied schedules and responsibilities.

Qualifications

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required.
Valid CDL with a clean driving record is required.
Ability to lift and transfer patients with mobility impairments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work evenings and weekends.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments, adhering to routes and schedules.
Ensure patients' comfort and safety during transportation, providing assistance as needed.
Maintain accurate records of patient transportation, including mileage and dates of service.
Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure seamless transitions for patients.
Participate in ongoing training to maintain CNAs and van driver certifications.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
