Job summary

Northern Light Maine Coast Hospital in Ellsworth, ME is seeking a Nursing Support professional to join our Emergency Department. This full-time role supports patient care, assists with basic duties, and coordinates with clinicians to ensure smooth operations during the 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM shift.

The position requires a CNA certification and a High School Diploma/GED, with opportunities to grow within a large health system. We offer a competitive wage and a $4,000 sign-on bonus with commitment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates assigned unit activities.

• Accepts responsibility for further developing professional learning needs.
• Maintains a safe environment complying with policies; report hazards.
• May perform other duties upon request.

This position is eligible for a $4,000 (minus tax) sign on bonus with work commitment.

Summary:

Performs secretarial duties using specific knowledge of medical terminology and hospital, clinic, or laboratory procedures. Duties may include scheduling appointments, billing patients, and compiling and recording medical charts, reports, and correspondence.
