Job summary

Desert View Hospital is a 25-bed acute care facility serving a rural community. The CNA will assist in planning, organizing and evaluating activities in the nursing unit, perform clerical and receptionist duties, and provide patient care as outlined by Nevada regulations.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, be eligible for CNA certification in Nevada, hold a current CNA license and BLS, and possess basic PC skills and medical terminology to support safe patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; CNA certification eligibility in Nevada.
• Current CNA license in Nevada; BLS certification required.
• Basic PC knowledge and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating nursing unit activities; perform clerical and receptionist duties.
• Provide patient care/service activities/procedures as outlined by Nevada regulations.
• Demonstrate Service Excellence in all nursing duties.
