Job summary

The Valley Health System’s Summerlin Hospital in Las Vegas is seeking a CNA to assist the nursing unit with clerical and patient care duties, under state guidelines.

Qualifications include a Nevada CNA license, current BLS, and high school or equivalent; completion of education to obtain CNA certification is preferred. The role emphasizes teamwork, patient safety, and efficient service in a busy hospital environment.

Qualifications

• CNA license in Nevada is required.
• BLS certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of education/experience to obtain CNA certification (Nevada) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the nursing unit by planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating activities.
• Perform clerical and receptionist duties as outlined by state requirements.
• Provide patient care/service activities in accordance with unit protocols.
• Support patient safety and teamwork in a busy hospital environment.
