Job summary

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.
• Ability to lift or move residents as needed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, social events, and other off-site activities in a timely and courteous manner.
• Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including resident whereabouts and any relevant notes.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the transportation vehicle at all times.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of transportation services.
• Participate in training and education programs to maintain knowledge of industry standards, policies, and procedures.
