Job summary

Pine Acres Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Meadowview, NC is seeking a dependable CNA who can also serve as Transportation Driver to safely move residents to appointments and outings.

This hybrid role blends caregiving with transport duties, requiring a valid CNA certification, a clean driving record, and strong communication. Part-time schedule with competitive pay and comprehensive training is offered.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification required.
• Valid state driver's license with clean driving record.
• No more than three motor vehicle record entries.
• No DUI/DWI or other disqualifying offenses.
• Experience working with seniors or in healthcare.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to safely assist residents with mobility.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to appointments, therapy, outings and activities.
• Accompany residents and provide CNA-level support as needed.
• Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle safely.
• Provide resident care during appointments when required.
• Communicate transportation plans with families and staff.
• Coordinate and confirm appointment transportation details.
• Inspect vehicle before/after trips and maintain logs.
• Assist with clerical tasks related to appointments and transfers.
• Follow safety regulations and facility policies.
